CMT Tool: Camera Matching with ACES IDT
Select IDTs and create a Camera Matching Transform with CMT Tool. Explore camera matching in an ACES IDT workflow and its relationship to a Custom IDT.
How IDT, Custom IDT and CMT relate
An IDT (Input Device Transform) converts camera input for use in ACES. A Custom IDT is tailored to a camera or capture conditions. CMT Tool instead compares color charts in a reference image and a target image to calculate a Camera Matching Transform, including adjustments to differences remaining after ACES IDT processing.
How to use this tool
Load reference and target images, select their IDTs and chart regions, and run Calc CMT. Compare the result and save the transform as CLF. The output is a camera-matching transform; it is not an automatically certified ACES Custom IDT.
